Junk N the Trunk
A weekly drop of one-of-a-kind thrift finds, with holds instead of checkout.

The business problem
A thrift seller posting finds on Marketplace had no place of their own to show each week’s one-of-a-kind items, mark what was spoken for, and let buyers ask to hold something without checkout fees.
The approach
Build the page around one object from the seller’s world: a trunk that opens to release the week’s finds as kraft tags. Each item is marked one of a kind, holds are requests sent to the seller rather than payments, and the weekly update lives in one content file so it takes minutes, not a rebuild.
What this proves
Evidence before inference.
- Demo build reviewed with the client; launch follows the client’s go-ahead
- Trunk scene and sample items in this demo are AI-generated; real items replace them at launch
- Holds are requests, not reservations or payments; the demo sends nothing
- Prior performance audit: LCP 1.41 s and CLS 0.001 with no outside requests (lab conditions, not every device)
